We use high-purity fused quartz because we want as much UV light as possible getting through the glass. We also tweaked the electrodes to stop “sputtering”—that annoying gunk that clouds the glass over time. The best part? Most of our popular models aredrop-in replacements. You don’t have to spend your afternoon rewiring ballasts or hacking away at your lamp housings. You just pop the old one out, slide the new one in, and get back to work.
