The magic of “Instant-Off” Here is how it actually works: unlike those thick coils that soak up heat like a sponge, IR lamps use electromagnetic radiation. The heat goes straight to the surface of the can without heating up all the air around it. The best part? When you cut the power, the heat stops. Right then. No lingering glow, no residual soak. Your equipment goes into a “stop-and-cool” state almost the second you flip the switch. Getting the specs right When we build these for OEM lines, we use high-density quartz envelopes. These short-wave emitters pack a lot of punch into a very small space. You get all the heat you need for a perfect seal, but you don’t need a massive, bulky oven to do it. Fitting it into your line We designed these to be drop-in replacements. Whether you’re running 230V or 400V, it’s pretty straightforward. The goal is power density— cramming high wattage into a short tube so the system ramps up to temperature fast. But there is a catch.
